World of Paint - Puzzle, developed by Early Morning Studio, is an exciting new game for Android that puts a fun spin on the puzzle genre. Can you paint your way through 90+ challenging puzzles?
Concept and Gameplay
To start playing World of Paint - Puzzle, simply choose which world you’d like to play in. There’s a red world, blue world, yellow world, and black & white world.
The whole goal of the game is to complete puzzles by helping the gray ball navigate its way to the checkered goal using a variety of colors and strategies.
This is achieved by painting on the screen with your finger using colors that match the direction you want the ball to travel in.
For example, red paint will make the ball travel to the left and green makes the ball roll to the right.
When you’ve painted your course, you can press the start button and see if the ball makes to the goal. If not, you have to go back and make adjustments accordingly.

Once you’ve successfully guided the ball to the goal, you’re presented with a trophy ranking of how well you did.
The number of trophies you earn determines how quickly you unlock the rest of the levels and worlds in World of Paint - Puzzle.
While World of Paint - Puzzle might seem like an easy concept once you have the hang of it, I found the puzzles to be fairly difficult to complete. This is mainly because it’s very easy for the ball to get carried away and roll off course if you just draw straight lines. Therefore, it’s better to paint huge swaths of color to keep the ball rolling in the right direction.
Features
Perhaps the best feature offered by World of Paint - Puzzle is the freedom to play the game how you want to. Aside from a variety of colors moving the ball in a specific direction, there’s really no set way to complete each puzzle.
This means each puzzle can be completed in a million different ways.
World of Paint - Puzzle also includes over 90 levels to play through, so it’s unlikely that you’ll zip through the game in an hour or two. This combination of long-term playability, endless possibilities, and a performance-based scoring system, that’s great for those who strive to do better, makes for a truly fantastic game.
Value
World of Paint - Puzzle is available to download from Google Play for free, but there’s an option to purchase a Pro version of the game for $2.99. This upgrade removes ads, adds grumpy old man sounds to gameplay (optional), and gives you two extra black & white levels to play through. Whether or not the upgrade is worth it totally depends on how much you’re enjoying the game.
Overall, World of Paint - Puzzle is a refreshing twist on the puzzle game genre and I definitely recommend it for anyone who is up for a mind bending challenge.
