Travel Itch Lite challenges avid traveler and also those new to traveling to participate in the ultimate around the world competition.
Every time you travel and visit a new continent, city, or popular landmark, the app centers on your geographical location and allows you check off on your virtual destination checklist that you have been to that specific place.
Earn points towards achievements and compare scores with others on the leadership boards viewable through the main menu function. View additional locations in the near vicinity or search for ones that might peak your interest in the future through the “Locations” and “Show Map” features, both also accessible through the main menu function.

The neat thing about the Travel Itch Lite app is that when you look up nearby landmarks and sites, you are also given an image and a brief description. This way you know what you are about to view and you have a chance to change your mind about your next destination vista point.
We particularly like its monochromatic backdrop, and bold, brightly colored marker points. This layout lets users view their selections clearly and understandably. Geographical taggers are also just as nicely and vividly marked for even better visibility.
Value
This Travel Itch Lite app is initially offered for free, but once you hit the marker of three achievements received, you can no longer progress through this version of the app. Hence, this is the “Lite” version of the app.
You are given the option to unlock the full version with an in-app purchase. If you do so your markers and achievements from this “Lite” version will carry over so you will not lose any of your points or boasting rights.
It is a perfect app for those who are travel bugs or even for those who travel for business and like to display all the neat places they have been. It is definitely worth upgrading to the full version, especially if you are always on the go.
