Chase Him Down
Android Game Review by AndroidAppsReview.com
Whether you’re on Android or iOS, you’ve heard of Flappy Bird. Though the original game has passed on, there definitely isn’t a shortage of successors. Luckily many of the newcomers have actually improved on what Flappy Bird left behind.
Chase Him Down, developed by Mobijet, is a new and challenging Android game that is a bit less frustrating than its Flappy Bird predecessor. From great graphics to a nice twist on a seemingly saturated market of Flappy Bird-like games, Chase Him Down effectively sets itself apart from the rest of the pack.
Concept and Gameplay

Reviewed by Sarah Hanlon
The goal of Chase Him Down is to keep your character in the air for as long as possible without hitting obstacles or bosses. This is achieved by tapping on the screen repeatedly and using careful judgment to keep yourself distanced from obstructions.
The game is endless, so it only ends when you bump into something. Each obstacle you successfully pass through will give you one point toward your score.
As you progress through Chase Him Down, you can unlock additional characters with unique abilities. For example, a score of 10 will automatically unlock Spirit, a character that can periodically turn invisible. The third character, Bot, must be purchased within the app for $1.99.
In terms of gameplay, I found Chase Him Down to be fairly fun and addicting. It wasn’t nearly as difficult as I initially thought it would be, but there’s definitely a difference between the two available levels. I found that Grassy Hill was a bit trickier than Dreamy Forest, but both were equally gorgeous to play through.
Features
Along with unlockable characters and multiple levels with varying boss attacks, Chase Him Down has another feature that’s something worth mentioning, which is expandability. The developer is planning on releasing additional levels in the near future, which is fantastic for players who really get into the game.
Lastly, Chase Him Down allows players to connect the game to their Facebook account in order to track high scores of friends for a bit of competition. Personally I’m apprehensive of this, as many apps and games take advantage of this and spontaneously post to your timeline and send requests to friends, but Chase Him Down promises never to do so without your confirmation.
Value
Chase Him Down is available to download from Google Play for free and is compatible with Android 4.0 and up. If you’re looking for a beautiful and challenging game to try, I definitely recommend taking a look at Chase Him Down.
Chase Him Down requires Android 4.0+. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
