Marty’s Escape, developed by Tippy Top Games, is an Android game that’s out of this world. It will definitely challenge you with its fast-paced gameplay, but I can guarantee you’ll be addicted in no time!
Concept and Gameplay
Though the idea of Marty’s Escape is simple, the game itself can get pretty challenging. The goal of the game is to help Marty the alien escape Area 51 in his spaceship. This is achieved by dragging your finger on the screen of your device to help him navigate around obstacles while flying upward. If you happen to hit an obstacle, the game is over.
Like many other fast-paced games, Marty’s Escape sounds incredibly simple. Don’t let that fool you, though, as the game takes a bit of practice before you can really achieve a high score.
It’s certainly not impossible, though, which is nice because it seems like that’s the latest trend in mobile games. I’m looking at you, Flappy Bird.
Marty’s Escape Android Game Review
In terms of overall thoughts on Marty’s Escape, I think it’s a game that features a nice balance between difficulty and playability. Sure, it can be a bit challenging, but it’s certainly not impossible to earn a high score after a bit of practice.
This is definitely refreshing and it makes Marty’s Escape fun, which is what a game should be. The graphics are reminiscent of a modern arcade game, which is also nice.
Features
Marty’s Escape includes a quite a few nice features, all of which enhance gameplay. Players can earn coins as they play, which can be used to unlock additional spaceships for Marty to fly away in.
There are a total of 7 different ships that players can buy with coins, and they’re all purely aesthetic. From what I can tell, no special abilities come with any of the ships; they just help Marty escape in style.
Also, players can optionally sign into Google Play Games within Marty’s Escape to connect it to their account and activate leaderboard, which adds a nice touch of competition to the game. There are also a total of 14 achievements to unlock while playing, which is always nice because they encourage players to keep playing.
Value
Marty’s Escape is available to download from Google Play for free and includes in-app purchases for coins, which can be used to buy additional ships for Marty to use. I can’t say enough great things about this game, as it’s definitely what most people are looking for in a new mobile game.
It’s exciting and challenging, but definitely not impossible. Plus players can work toward achievements and compete against each other. I definitely recommend Marty’s Escape for anyone who is looking for a great new game to try.
