Hero Tower Defense TD, developed by Philipp Schindler, is a challenging and unique game for Android. Combining strategy and RPG-like gameplay, Hero Tower Defense TD is definitely a game that’s worth checking out.

Concept and Gameplay

One of the many fun things about writing for Android Apps Review is that I get to see a ton of cool new apps and games. Hero Tower Defense TD is definitely no exception.

This innovative strategy/RPG hybrid combines a few different gameplay styles to make for one heck of an entertaining Android game. The idea behind Hero Tower Defense TD is to defend your base using various weapons and tactics.

What’s truly unique about Hero Tower Defense TD (and primarily what sets it apart from other tower defense games) is the fact that you can individually control heroes. Heroes are the backbone of the game, and your primary defense against invading baddies. You can also utilize powerful turrets to aid your heroes.

One of the many things I like about Hero Tower Defense TD is that it feels like an old school game with new school gameplay. The graphics aren’t going to blow you away, but that’s the beauty of it. This is definitely a game that will take you quite awhile to master, but it’s worth it.

Features

One of the best features Hero Tower Defense TD offers is complex and in-depth customization and upgrades. You can upgrade heroes and turrets in an unlimited number of ways, meaning you could start the game over from the beginning with different customizations and skills, and it wouldn’t be the same game you just played.

As someone who is a huge fan of in-depth games, I can say this is a major plus for Hero Tower Defense TD.

When it comes down to raw numbers, Hero Tower Defense TD includes 68 missions with 38 different monster species. There are 62 different weapons you can acquire and use, and 34 base skills you can customize your character with.

What’s the coolest part? There are even more upgrades on the way, which will add to these numbers.

Hero Tower Defense TD is available to download from Google Play for free. If you’re looking for an incredibly fun and challenging new game to play, Hero Tower Defense TD is a must. I can’t recommend it enough!
