When we talk about customizing the look of your Android phone, usually we talk about cases for your exterior, or a new wallpaper for the guts on the inside.
Today, we’re doing a little bit of the later, but we’re also focusing on a more efficient way to give your phone a complete overhaul. Today, we’re talking about the Owl Icon Pack, from Alexandr Gluhachev.
This represents a cheap, effective and rather attractive way of improving your phone’s aesthetics with little effort.

Concept and Functionality
For those that don’t know, an icon pack is a lot more than just a single wallpaper for your phone to enjoy. In fact, it goes a good couple hundred yards beyond that functionality.
It allows users to totally redo the majority of their phone’s odds and ends. For instance, the pack includes a boat load of icons for popular applications.
Simply install it, and off the title will go, redoing a whole lot of your installed items with a fashionable new exterior.
If you couldn’t tell by the title, this icon pack has a lot to do with owls. However, it is also focused on flat design and modern looks. In other words, you’ll get a lot of images of cute, high-fashion owls in trees, posing as alarm clocks, or soaring mid-flight—in addition to a stack of truly marvelous flat icons.
It’s a good assortment of items, and if you’re into this sort of aesthetic, you’ll get a lot out of the package regardless of your opinion on owls.
Design and Artwork
Obviously, this is a more important category than usual, considering your purchasing the app for its looks. And we can assure you: It will live up to your expectations and then some.
There’s a very wide assortment of icons included here, and with a particular style that we liked a lot. It’s called a long shadow flat icon, and we’ve actually created similar sets for other projects. The end results look fantastic on almost any Android device.
The wholly original artwork that sits in the background is also expertly created, as well.
All together, this is a solid effort, and one we don’t have any qualms recommending.
Overall Value
The price is certainly right for what you’ll get with Owl Icon Pack. Here-in you’ll find a host of phenomenally designed replacement graphics, some even cooler backgrounds, and as long as you’ve already got a launcher the app uses (GO, Next, Smart, etc.) a simple installation.
With all of this in mind, Owl Icon Pack earns a solid pass, as well as our whole hearted approval. This one is a keeper, and it’s hard to beat it for cuteness and style.
