Whether you’re a train enthusiast or a simulator buff, there’s almost always something new to try on Google Play. Highbrow Interactive is one of the leaders in the train simulation category, and their latest game is one you definitely shouldn’t miss.
Indian Local Train Simulator is an in-depth and feature-rich Android train simulation game that you have to see to believe.
It has everything you’d expect from a sim, from cool graphics to realistic routes and scenarios. The best part? It’s completely free!
Concept and Gameplay
We’ve reviewed other train simulator games by Highbrow Interactive here on AndroidAppsReview.com, and each one has earned quite a bit of praise. I’m pleased to say that Indian Local Train Simulator is no different, mainly because it’s a fun game that’s very difficult to put down once you start playing it.
The main menu boasts a variety of gameplay options for you to choose from. Personally I recommend starting out with career mode if you’ve never played the game before, as this is your best bet for getting used to the game.
Indian Local Train Simulator also allows you to create your own simulation experience by customizing train type, route, weather, and even time of day. If you’re not picky about settings and you’d rather pick up and play, quick play is your best option.
When it comes to the simulations themselves, Indian Local Train Simulator feels very immersive and realistic.
You have complete control over your train and everything that happens to it, but you must pay attention to environmental factors like track changes and speed limits.
Features
While Indian Local Train Simulator certainly builds on its predecessors, there are a host of new features specifically designed for this particular game.
For example, you’re able to check on your passengers and the interior of your locomotive.
Personally I think this feature is an incredible addition to the game because it allows users to become even more immersed in the experience.
Other great features of Indian Local Train Simulator include multiple camera angles (driver, overhead, Birdseye, orbit, passenger, etc.), incredibly detailed scenery, and a helpful message system that lets you know exactly what’s going on.
Value
Indian Local Train Simulator is available to download from Google Play for free, but it includes advertisements. Personally I didn’t find them to be intrusive or annoying.
Overall, Indian Local Train Simulator is a fantastic game that’s definitely worth checking out if you enjoy simulations.
It provides a level of realism that’s tough to find on mobile devices and it’s a neat way to experience Mumbai as a train conductor.
