Organize your busy life with TaskOS for the AndroidOS. It’s a fun, simple and clean-cut todo list Android app, available for free through the Android Market.
Functions
It’s easy to add tasks in TaskOS, as evidenced by the simple but nice intro layout. Just tap in the white input bar uptop, then type in your task and hit “+.” From there, you can categorizes it, add a date, share it, set the priority, change alerts and more. You can even just tap the mic setting to add a recorded task message!
Taskos
Users can also add tasks by simply speaking to their Android Device in TaskOS. New features in the latest version of TaskOS include the ability to ‘shake’ the device to remove completed tasks (if already checked as complete), better battery usage, Google apps support and compatibility with Android tablets. Users can alo ‘swipe’ on the screen to virtually cross out a completed task in TaskOS. There is also widgets the user can add to the Google screen to better access TaskOS.
It’s worth noting that actually ‘shaking’ the device to remove completed tasks does require a fairly intense shake, similar to what you would do on a Wii controller while playing Mario Party. Also, if you make a mistake and shake it, don’t worry-you’ll be hit with a popup warning asking if you really want to delete the completed tasks.
Graphical Layout and Sounds
From startup, users of TaskOS will be greeted with a nice intro the new features of the Android app. From there, users are presented with a simple screen featuring a mic, “+” and input buttons. Adding tasks is a cinch, as mentioned previously, and so is clearing them. The layout, while simple, is perfect for this productivity app and keeps everything distraction-free. There are alerts and sounds you can turn on, including alarms, to help keep you on track and completing tasks as need be. Value
There are quite a few task and todo list apps on the Android Market today, however, TaskOS is definitely one the best ones. The ease of access and use that TaskOS boasts really helps set it apart from the rest of the app pack. The new features in TaskOS’s latest update really help keep it competitive as well.
