Written Android App Review
I was very happy to perform an Android app review for the TouchRetouch Android app! I mean, I’m kind of hooked on Photography apps as a whole, but this one is specific grabbed my attention right off the bat! I’m hoping that its amazing, but if it even does a half way nice job of pulling out the nose picker then I will feel like it was $0.99 well spent!

TouchRetouch
Features
TouchRetouch is a pretty straightforward Android app that works like this. First, you open up the photo you want to edit. Next, using your finger, carefully outline the object that you want to remove from the photo. When you have the entire object “in the red” so to speak click the retouch button and the object with magically vanish from the shot!
Does the Android app work? Yep! Well, kinda! The way it works is by taking the background around the object that you remove and estimating what the photo should look like behind the object in question. So if you have a nice nature shot or something where the background does not have to be specific, then it works great. If the background is super detailed, then you may not get the crisp look you are after.
But! For me? It removed the nose picker and I am happy! 5 stars!
Functionality
Functionality is a bit of an issue in that TouchRetouch has a tendency to force close. Even worse, once it locks up on you, you lose the edits in progress and have to start over from the beginning.

TouchRetouch
Boo!
Luckily it’s not one of those Android apps that force closes every single time you open it. And, when it works, it works great! Hopefully a few good updates will eliminate the problem and we won’t ever have to worry about it again.
In terms of permissions, TouchRetouch is on the lite side which makes me very happy! There are a few, but nothing to out there and nothing that makes me all that concerned!
Fun Factor
This Android app is a blast! One that I highly recommend and one that is guaranteed to make you grin. Beyond the infamous family shot, I have already worked on several other pic, including one where I removed my husband’s bike right out from under him, another where I made my little one look like she way flying and a really fun “floating” Grandma shot! Truly the fun is endless and you get the added benefit of posting it all to Facebook once you have them just right!
My family hates it and I am thrilled!
