In case you aren’t familiar with the concept, in the Burn the Rope Worlds Android app you guide flames as they wick around a puzzle made of rope, using gravity (flames only burn straight up) and the bugs you find crawling along the rope to completely char each level to ash.
These rope levels are shaped like intricate pictures of birds, bells, axes and spaceships. The new app has four new worlds: jungle, mechanical, fantasy and space. There are some seriously neat rope puzzles and even the best Burn the Rope Worlds players will take hours to make it through all of the new levels.
The new mini game is also a lot of fun. It’s a snake-style game where you eat bugs and avoid hitting your tail and other obstacles, called Endless Burn. You can play Endless Burn on three different levels of difficulty, so it may take some time to master.
Throw in a couple new styles of bug and blaze, and you’ve got a great follow up title to the original Burn the Rope Android game that’s just as addictive.

Burn the Rope Worlds
Sadly, the signature track from Burn the Rope did not make it to the Burn the Rope Worlds Android app. Oh well. There’s a brand new techno track to champion your rope burning action, and it’s not half bad.
Stylistically, the game boards and controls stayed about the same. You’ll be twirling your Android device every which way to keep those flames going.
As we mentioned earlier, there are a few new graphics, including stylized bugs and even three new flame styles that unlock as you access the new worlds.
Value
Downloading and playing Burn the Rope Worlds is free. Access to the first 25 levels (in the Jungle world) is included. After you complete Jungle, it will cost you 400 flame points to unlock each level. Thankfully, you can earn flame points by playing the game. But, sooner or later, this process is going to slow doing. You may be tempted to buy a few flame points to make the game move along instead of grinding levels you’ve already done to earn points. It’s a little disappointing that the game style pushes in-app purchases so hard when the app is already ad supported.
Even with this bit of a snafu, it’s still nice for developers to make the title free to try. Burn the Rope Worlds is an extremely fun game, every bit as good as the original. Prepare to get addicted.
