Azada is another puzzle solving title from Big Fish Games. Designed to ignite your investigative thought process and shrouded in mystery, this game is more than meets the eye. Do you think you have what it takes to collect the clues and free Titus from his prison? Check out our Android app review of Azada to find out.
Gameplay

In Azada you’ll work your way through the puzzled pages of a magical book. Working with a set time limit and backed up by a helpful clue system you’ll tap, unlock, discover, combine and solve the book, ultimately saving the day. But be careful! Unlocking clues eats up valuable time, so we suggest using them judiciously and letting your own curious nature be your guide.
We’ve seen apps like this before here at Android Apps Review, but find the variety of puzzles featured in Azada particularly refreshing. That being said, the tap to find clue puzzle design so prominently featured in this app might appeal to a ten year old mystery story fan, but otherwise we just don’t get it.
Layout & Design
Azada
As promised, the design work in this app is stupendous. All the scenes are intricate, layered thick with items. The book itself is beautiful. Even the page transitions are sleek. Items twinkle mischievously in every corner of Azada, it’s stunning and definitely the kind of app that’s easy on the eyes.
Navigating, saving and finding clues are all pretty easy to do. The app’s reactions are spot on, no recalibration required. Don’t forget to use the pinch to zoom function while you search pictures for clues. The zoom in and zoom out functions work quite well.
We were a bit surprised that the curvy text in the app was a bit hard to read. For that reason we suggest playing Azada on a tablet if at all possible. We had to strain our eyes a bit to read them on an Android phone screen.
Overall Value
Azada is available as a free demo. If you think the game sounds interesting it’s worth downloading and playing the free demo, which is pretty extensive. When you work your way through the chapters in the free demo (and trust us, you will) the additional content will cost $3.99. That’s not going to break the bank, so we suggest unlocking early if you’re into this kind of mystery, tap-to-solve it game.
