BH Date is a great way to search for love in a fun way for men in North America and Europe to connect with women from Russia, Ukraine, Asia, and Latin America.

Along with the countless limitations and restrictions we’ve faced since the beginning of the pandemic, being able to get “out there” and find a meaningful romantic relationship has been especially challenging.

However, thanks to online dating apps and services, there’s always a chance…

Concept and Functionality

Usually whichever dating app we’re using tries its best to focus on your local area by narrowing down your preferred distance.

This is the first time I’ve looked at an app that instead focuses on the “big picture” and lets you search the globe with the stated goal helping western men “searching for love and romance and willing to create a happy family”.

After signing up using generic profile information for review purposes, I began receiving chat invitations almost immediately.

For anyone who’s a bit timid and just wants to put a toe in the water, a great feature of BH Date is that there isn’t any requirement to fill out a personal profile - you don’t even need to add a profile picture if you don’t want to.

As far as interface and navigation goes, BH Date, created by RIL, gets the job done simply and easily in similar fashion to most dating apps.

You can quickly see the information you’re interested in by just tapping on a woman’s photo and read more about her, as well as refine search results by physical attributes (but not profile keywords).

At this point the app seems to have a few glitches but they’re relatively minor and they will no doubt be worked out in upcoming releases.

Features

BH Date easily achieves its goal of helping like-minded people connect around the world with the focus on western men meeting women in Russia, Ukraine, Asia, and Latin America.

One thing I do like about the app is that you can communicate in a few different ways, such as by live chat or sending emails.

Rather than charge a monthly fee, the way many dating apps work, BH Date takes a more “pay as you go” approach which lets you decide how much you want to spend each month.

In order to chat you need to spend credits and they are not cheap. Live chatting with someone can get expensive as it costs 1 credit per minute and you’ll need to spend at least $0.70 per credit to top off your balance.

It would be great if a monthly payment plan was offered in addition to the current credit plan.

Value

Overall, BH Date is an interesting option for men interested in global dating. It has good intentions and is off to a very nice start.

It’s key advantage is that it targets a specific demographic so for many it is helping to make the search for love a bit easier.

However, I couldn’t get past the fact that there’s no easy way to verify whether or not you’re chatting with a real person who you can meet in real life or not. Of course that was not possible for this review and it will take a bit of an investment on your part to find out for yourself.

I tend to be a bit cautious in matters like this so to me the fact that I received chat invitations almost instantaneously after signing up was also a bit of a flag.

BH Date is a chat app that I suggest you try with an open mind as well as some caution if you’re looking for love on the other side of the world.
