Not only is it challenging to take control of your finances, but it can be even more difficult to establish a budget and sticking to it. Being financially responsible is perhaps more important than ever, especially in today’s world.

Simplifi does a fantastic job of providing users with a “big picture” when it comes to money. If you’re serious about staying on top of your wealth and spending habits, this is an app you can’t pass up.

Concept and Functionality

There certainly isn’t a shortage of finance apps and services available for users, but I firmly believe that money management should be personalized. Therefore, any app that adapts to the way someone wants to handle their accounts is an instant plus.

Getting started with Simplifi, a free finance app by Quicken, is very easy and I didn’t have any trouble with connecting my most-used accounts for testing purposes.

The only drawback that might bother some users is that you must immediately sign up for a free 30-day trial before you can create an account.

After connecting a diversified range of accounts like my bank and investments, I was able to navigate Simplifi’s interface with ease.

I truly like the fact that everything important is presented on the dashboard for easy access. This is certainly an app that can be customized to fit your financial needs and goals.

Features

Simplifi offers a wide variety of tools and features for everyone, which is why I think the app is off to a great start. From customized savings goals to comprehensive investment tracking, this app really does seem to cover every financial aspect.

If you’re looking to use the app as a budget manager, you can easily set up a spending plan that factors income against regular bills and subscriptions.

You can also create a watchlist in Simplifi, which is a new feature that I haven’t encountered in other finance apps. This tool lets you track transactions by category, payee, or specific tags. You can even set a monthly target if you choose.

Value

Simplifi is available to download from Google Play for free and requires a monthly subscription after a free 30-day trial. You can choose to pay monthly for $3.99 or annually for $35.99.

As with most financial tools, you’ll only get out of it what you’re willing to invest as far as time and energy.

If you choose to make Simplifi your primary money management app and you feel it suits your needs during the trial period, I can’t recommend it enough.
