Written Android App Review
Have you ever forgotten the exact name of the Android app you were looking for? We’ve all been there, especially after changing Android devices or performing a phone reset. You wanted Bubbles 2 HD, but ended up finding Frozen Bubble, and you are not happy. Avoid Android app name overload. Let Chomp help you search for Android apps in a whole new way.
Chomp
Features
Chomp Android app lets you search for apps your way, making this Android Apps Review a breeze. Enter an approximate title, whatever words you remember or just what kind of app you want. Chomp does the rest. Once your results are in, filter app results by price and category. Maybe your bubble app was bubble wallpaper, not a bubble game. Simply tap “Category” and select “App” to avoid those pesky game results. Was it free? Tap “Price” to keep your app budget in check.
There’s even a handy suggestion bar at the bottom that shows you related searches. If your search didn’t bring up what you want, try one of Chomp’s suggestions. Or search through apps by category, sale pricing and new releases.
Chomp’s May 23 feature update introduced cross-store app search functionality. Now that Chomp has partnered with Verizon, users can view results from the Android Market and Verizon’s VCast app catalog. No word yet on search functionality for Amazon’s Appstore, but this is a step in the right direction. Color me excited.
Additional user features include the ability to review Android apps you’ve tried yourself and access to reviews from other users. Chomp for Android can notify you when it discovers new apps for you to review. Users may flesh out their review profile bios and even use their own photographs for a user icon.
User Interface
Chomp
All of Chomp’s features have me pretty pumped, but let’s not forget about the packaging. An app can be full of nifty features, but if it’s poorly put together, it will flop. I am proud to report that Chomp lives up to my expectations. The app is easy to navigate, with clear menu options and no ads. App search results come with pictures and easy access to additional info and reviews. Registering for a Chomp app was a breeze. Clean lines and an unfussy format are the way to this girl’s heart. How do you think “Chomp” would look tattooed on my shoulder?
Value
Chomp is free! Oh boy. Magical app search juju for everybody! All joking aside, Chomp is a seriously high quality app available for the startling price of nada. Verizon Wireless subscribers will benefit from the app in particular. It is available in the VCast store as well.
