Android Game Review by AndroidAppsReview.com
Capitalizing on the popular trends in rpg and farming games, the Stardew Valley Android game, from Chucklefish Limited, brings this incredibly popular game to mobile devices.
Whether you yearn to be found out in the field hoeing carrots or raising wheat stalks, this is it.
Get ready to fall in love with Stardew Valley, a richly detailed, incredibly addictive, game full of high quality images and gameplay.
Gameplay
Like any good civilization or farming game, you will work a homestead, planting and harvesting crops, building shops and decorating your grounds however you please.
But this open-ended farming RPG is far from stopping there. With 50+ hours of challenging entertainment you have a lot to discover.
Growing your crop is also not the only thing to do. Take a shot at raising livestock. Try your skill, and luck, at breeding a better milking cow.
This game is seriously complex, with many opportunities to create just the farm you want. Design it to your liking and see how to improve it.
Despite the large amount of work to do, the game layout is simple and easy. It’s not hard to play, and all the variety keeps the game moving. It’s pretty hard to get bored playing, which is more than we can say for most builders out there.
One improvement we’d like to suggest, and we think we’re not alone here, is to make infants grow up to a later stage than just toddlers. Having them advance to adolescents, teens, or more with all the accompanying aspects of gameplay that would entail, would be amazing.
Graphics
The farm/base looks like many other farming or civilization games, with plots of ground perfect for growing crops or buildings. Stats and menus are kept small and minimally obtrusive, while the optional activities are easily accessible.
Speaking of optional activities, we love the whole way those activities are laid out for you. From the fishing hole to the new town upgrades. They even have monsters that you have to defend against who might try to ruin your mine.
Our favorite finish touches are many of the new ways you can accessorize, with pets, clothing and even hats, which are especially important if you’re going on a date.
Overall Value
Not only is this game an intelligent complex gaming concept, it’s immensely fun to play. Yes it does cost a bit more than most games, but you also get lots more. Think of it as one large coffee.
You can download Stardew Valley for $5.06USD. The good news is that after paying the download fee your good to go, no in-app purchase options or ads to nag at you. This game is a super solid value.
Bottom line, we highly suggest giving Stardew Valley a chance to crack into your everyday play list.
Stardew Valley requires Android 4.4 or later.
