Imagine having all the freedom you want to cook whatever you want in whatever way you want. That’s an experience in the kitchen that you might just love more than your kids.
Toca Kitchen 2 is an incredibly well designed game that serves up more fun for your kids that you might expect.
Features
As a kid you may have wanted to just play in the kitchen with all the food and all the equipment, and who didn’t? Toca Kitchen 2 from developer Toca Boca, serves up that fun and should definitely be your next download. As they say in their description of the game, “get messy and start playing!”
The task for players is to try to please the guest by using any of the 6 kitchen tools provided along with the various ingredients available. Just don’t expect to be mixing up “traditional” recipes. This game is all about fun so the winning meal might be baked fish head with an octopus leg!
Your kids can let their imaginations, and weirdness, loose to see what can be put together. The judges let you know what they think with their thoroughly enjoyable reactions. No need to hesitate whipping up a strange meal and bizarre juice, now’s the time to let it fly.
As for what parents care about, the developers of this app take you and your kids’ privacy and online safety seriously. Only anonymous user data is collected and even that can be turned off. Plus, there are no IAPs or 3rd party ads.
Appearance and Layout
The best way to characterize the overall appearance of the Toca Kitchen 2 is colorful, fun, and just plain awesome.
The images are real enough to know what item of food you’re looking at but also crazy enough for it all to be lots of fun. The characters talk, react and even blow on anything you cooked that might be hot.
The whole layout is very easy for anyone to figure out and maneuver around with icons and functions clearly labeled.
